I thought I'd post a pic. of my latest build (3rd all total), it's a Bulgarian 74 built on a NDS-2 receiver w/matching serial #s. G2 DH FCG, polish grip, and US made F.P. and followers. Finished in Dupli-Color and my own Rit dye mixture for the wood.

NICE!! I am thinking of starting my first AK build, but am mostly familiar with the AR. Just out curiosity, when I am looking for parts, how can I tell the difference between FA and semi? Is it just the FCG or the bolt, etc? I see different kits, and wonder if it really makes a difference which ones I buy? I thought I'd ask you, as you say you've built a few, and this thread seems fresh. |
