Just picked up my new M92 kit and all I have to say is WOW, this is a nice kit! I wish I could find a 16" barreled kit that was this nice. Anyone know of any?? I also picked up a few of the polish underfolder kits a couple weeks back they are nice kits but don't hold a candle to this M92. Can't wait to get buildin!

Hey curt243,
I bought and built an M92 late last year. A very nice kit indeed. Built mine on an NDS 100% reciever. Love it and its a gas to shoot. I have not seen any 16" kits that are as nice as these. I did get one of the parked Polish UF kits from DPH some time back but it was still not like the Yugo Krinks. Here is a pic of my M92 on the line.

Wildgoose, Thanks for the picture, looks like your enjoying yourself . I demilled the Yugo, and one Polish UF today, my first attempt. Piece a cake for the most part, the only problem I have is the rear trinnon (SP?) pin is being a bugger! I think I'm going to have to drill it out. The barrel pins and barrel came right out, course it helps to have access to a 30 Ton press and a endmill I also am going to build on a 100% NDS reciever, just have to fill out the BATF paperwork for the SBR before I can finish the Yugo, I'm thinking on buying a couple more just to stick in the closet they are so nice. Again thanks for the photo if ya got anymore closeups of the M92 its self I'd love to see them.

No problem curt243. In my case due to local politics the SBR is not an option. As the kit was so nice I went ahead and did it as a pistol. No tax, paper or compliance parts. I used an NDS-6 rec with a costom SR# and stamped "Pistol". This way I could use all of the parts from the kit for the build. It is really just an M92 with out the UF. If you can do an SBR you will be able to do the same except you can add the UF. I have added two pics of my build. I had to drill out the rear long rivet on mine too. It was the worst part of the demil on my kit. All in all it was not that bad a process.

Wildgoose, ya gotta love the local politics.....is it because LEO won't sign or is it state law?? Looks like you did a first rate job on your M92! I hope mine turns out that good, I got the rear rivet out of both the Polish UF and the M92, didn't even try to press it out on the M92 just chucked it up in the endmill and drilled it out. I'm going to finish the Polish UF as soon as my rivet kit shows and start the paperwork on the SBR first of the week. Thanks again for the pictures, they look great.

Thanks for the complemet. It is very much a case of local politics. The city I live in is a very liberal collage town. The chief of police is the one who must sign and will not do so under any circumstances. The county sheriff is not as rabidly anti-gun but he will not go aginst the COP with in the city limits. If I lived out in the county he would sign. I have been told that if I were to form a trust or become my own corporation I could then file the paper work with out needing the signiture from the LEO. I just didnt want to go to that much trouble so I did the pistol route. I didnt want to put a long can on it. Just my own personal feeling. I have seen some rifles done with the cans that do look fine but not what I was looking for. Good luck on your builds. Post some pictures when you get them done. I have two UFs in my collection, a Russian Type III and a Polish. The Polish are very nice indeed.

Wild Goose- Do you have the option of setting youself up as a corporation and therefore by-passing the local LEO/politics?

That is what I have been told. Along with the option of setting up a trust and then having the trust as owner of the gun. I did not persue either of the options to find out if in fact I could do these things as I didnt feel it was worth the trouble involved. I have no reason to doubt the sorce of the information so I presently think that it is true.
