Will a double hook trigger perform better than a single hook? Whats the skinny on the differences between the two? Does one provide a smoother trigger or easier to bump? What gives? |

I'm hearing of guys having issues on here with single hook triggers and NDS-3 receivers. I have a double hook Tapco in my Romy NDS-3 and don't have any issues. Seems like the double hook triggers are more widely available at gun shows for some reason. Maybe dealer cost is less? |

probably 2/3 of the G2's I sell are single hook. Not sure why that is but if I had to guess I would assume its because single hooks will work in any receiver unlike doubles which may require modifying. Ive used both and dont have much of a preference either way. If your needing some I have a special where Im including a free slant brake with each one. www.MidwestArmory.com |

"U.S. made G2 single hook triggers do not have the same geometry as original single hook's.. " Absolutely correct. That's because G2 doesn't MAKE a Single Hook trigger. Huh? That's right - the G2 "Single Hook" is just a "Double Hook" with one leg cut off. Looks NOTHING like a proper Eastern Block Single Hook Trigger. You are far better off getting a Double Hook, then doing the very SIMPLE receiver mod that will accomodate it. Be sure to have the exotic tool required: a stinking file. G2 Double hooks are wonderful - I use them in virtually every build. |
