I wanna put a new Gas tube rail system on my Norinco .223 AK, Is the gas tube the same size as that of an 7.69x39mm AK? Thanks, Blue

The gas tube on my norinco .223 is .795" at the gas block. The same location on my sar1,2,3 and norinco 7.62 is .785". I think the rail systems are designed to to fit some variation in size but I'm not sure.
