i have my mak-90 about 80% torn down, i am goin to refinish it and then put it back together.

here is my question, put it back together with rivets or with a bolt kit.
i am actually having a hard time finding a gunsmith to work on an ak around here to put rivets back in it. so what would you suggest
i have never put rivets in an AK, so if i was to do it what would i need, as in tools
i looked thru the stickies and searched and none of the links worked
or anyone know of a good ak smith around pueblo or colorado springs co

First off, you'll need some rivets for your build; alot of folks have them on sale on the EE forum or you can order some from MidWest Armory.  I'm assuming that you already have the basic tools (since you mentioned that you have the kit already torn down), so all you'll need to suppliment it is a modified bolt cutter to smash the rivets.  You can order one already modified form MAASGuns, or look in the EE forum.

Next Colorado build party is in the springs on the 22.  They have riveted a few together.  Check the hometown forum.
