Ok, newbie builder here with a few questions. What is the average condition of the Romy AKM kits center fire systems is selling? What is a good quality reciever to build on? And last, what material did the Soviet Union use for the reciever on thier AKM? Thanks ahead for any assistance.

the centerfirekits are in like new if not new shape
receivers get a global or an oow IMO
not sure on the soviet receiver metal

Thanks. I think I am going to try to make my own reciever out of nickel steel. I figure once heat treated it would have to be as strong, if not stronger then the origional.
