after a flat is bent what is the procedure for locating the rail's to be attached? i haven't built any yet but this seems like a very important step in building a reliable ak. thanks.

I attach the trunnion and eye the rails to the trunnion and then use the appropriate size drill to ensure they are parallel to the top rails.
