I had plans for a trigger guard jig, flat bending jig, plinkers jig, etc.  Now that I need them, they are no where to be found.  Could anyone point me in the right direction?  I've searched every board I can think of with no luck.

I'm afraid that I can't point you in the right direction, but I'd like to know as well.

I have the plans for the 555th Flat Bending jig with lots of detail here:

I have the plans for Plinker7.62's Rivet Jigs here:

I have a plan for a trigger guard rivet jig that plinker designed but I don't think I have it uploaded...  I will see if I can find it and add it to my site later...

I just printed those plans for Plinkers rivet jig. What a nice setup and looks pretty easy to build. Thanks Plinker!!
I plan to build it as a project with my grandson while on vacation this Christmas. Once we get that done, I'm going to work with him to build his own AK.

Can (or has anyone tried) to use a hammer w/ the plinker jig instead of a press

No offense intended... but people wonder while I will not rent out some of my tools...

These tools are too expensive to just beat on...  yea, it might work but for about $100 you can buy a small press.  Seems crazy to spend several hundred dollars on jigs and then pound them with a hammer...

Anyways, no, I DON'T use a hammer on my tools!

The last tool that I loaned to anyone was a micrometer.  When I got it back it didn't feel quite right.  My friend made the comment a week or so later when I asked him if he'd ever need it again that "he had bought some clamps that worked better than the one that I loaned him, no offense."
