I understand that the throw together UF Yugo/Romy kit from CF has different size trunnions.  What is the best solution for getting them to mesh together???

I have heard of using a spacer, which size and where do I get it?

Or buying another trunnion.... is that possible?

I measured a yugo trunnion at 1.208" and a Romy at 1.255" Since the Yugo is .047 thinner than the receiver will be, using .020 shim stock on each side of the underfolder rear piece should work about right. Industrial suppliers will have shim stock but you might finde .020 sheet brass at a local hobby shop or hardware store. The brass will be much easier to work with.  Cut it with tin snips and shape and drill it using the Yugo stock mount as a template. You will be able to see the thin shims from the rear but it should be hardly noticeable after painting.

I drank enough beer when I lived in your neck of the woods to last me a lifetime.  The legal age was 18 at that time.

Well I went out and downed a beer then measured it.....010" nope.

So I tried another, it was the same.

Could you believe the entire half rack was the same??
