[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Heat treating ejectors

I'm bending some receivers and spot welding in the rails. I think it would be easier to heat treat the ejector before welding it in place.

Any problems with that?

Most ejectors will require trimming when fitting the bolt.

And that's easyer done after it's welded in, but before it's heat treated. IMO, anyways.
