Ok if you build off a flat or a pre bent how do you install the rails,Can you use screws,Rivets or do i have to weld cause i suck at welding..Id like to use screws..But i know everybody loves rivets?

Use whatever you want. Everyone uses everything... I personally MIG weld, but I have screwed in the past.

The factory uses a spot welder. You can use almost anything

I have used stick welding and screws. Both work just fine. I just never got around to riveting any lower rails in, but I may try that next.

I have used screws and later saw where someone had the screw heads on the inside. I went back and reversed mine and liked the look better.fwif
