[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bulgarian Sidefolder ?

I am going to be building a Bulgy sidefolder in a little while. How do you determine the right place to cut the reciever for the latch that holds the stock in the folded position?

How is the latch retained in the weapon? Hooked to the front trunion etc?

What else should I know?

You could look through some of the tacked posts. In one of them I found a drawing for where it goes.
I don't remember which one it was.

Mine came with the front receiver stub still attached. I used it as a template. The latch is held in place by a pin that fits into a hole in the trunion. The pin is held in place by a wire spring.
