So, does centerfire have the best price on the amd-65? There are $79.97. I read somewhere someone got one from tapco for $49. These seem to be gone. I want to pick one up before they dry up. Thanks.

They are quickly drying up I bought a bunch from Tapco but they are sold out. Im really not sure what centerfire system has but I believe they are used. Do your self a favor and get some of the ones in new to excellant condition these are VERY nice for the price. I would give some of the guys on the EE some buisness they have them for about a $100.

I agree, I've bought a couple sweet 65 kits in the EE.  Takes a little patience tho.

I'll vouch for Centerfire Systems kits, I got six of 'em. They all look great, a little finish wear and the plastic grips look a little tattered, but mechanicaly, they look great! The wood grips on the kit I was working on tonight look like new! All the bores shine up like new! The pistol I finished a week or so ago, worked flawlessly! I have to restain myself from buying more!

OH YEAH, all matching #s!

Clearview Investments still had them last week.  I ordered my first from Centerfire it was the wood $79 kit.  The metal finish was worn but the bore and grips were fantastic.  Who cares since I was refinishing the metal anyway.  The Clearview kit is the same grade with plastic grips.  It is just as nice.  On a side note Clearview seems to be another "storefront" for Centerfire, based on the address, and the do not charge the extra for using credit cards.

Thanks,
Chad

I agree. Bocefus is 'da man!

I bought three AMD-65 kits, one from Tapco, one from Centerfire, and one from Bocefus. The kit I got from him was, by far, the nicest of the lot. Minty and could easily have been "unfired".

All good . . . . Doug
