i was looking at the piston that came with the kit and trying to figure out how to get it off. when i look at the pic of a new one it looks like it is threaded so i should be able unscrew it but it wont budge. it just sort of sits there and moves a tiny bit but wont unscrew at all. any suggestions on how to get it off at all? |
| The gas piston is pinned in place. The cross pin is peened on both ends & painted over so it's real hard to see where it is. Just follow the instructions here www.redstararms.com/index.htm?c54.htm&1 and you'll be ok. |
