So I got it built, test fired 60 rounds today, and I love it! Shot it right at sunset, WOW the most amazing fireballs I have whitnessed!!!! Now, what does the sling look like, and where does it mount? it has the standard loop on the lower HG retainer, but where does the rear attach?

Hey I have a couple AMD leather slings if you are wanting one let me know I would probably take $8 shipped. I built mine with a tapco flat so it had a extra hole in it for a standard tunion I just drilled a hole in the tab that the sling swivel attaches to and bolted it on using a machine screw and nut.

Thanks for the offer, but I have lots slings, they multiply almost as fast as holsters, when left unattended in a box. I just wasn't sure where/how it should mount.

IIRC on the original AMD-65 the rear sling loop is held in place by a sheet metal tab that pokes thru a hole on the receiver & is spot welded in place (like the lower rails) on the inside.
