To answer your question... You can depress the tip of the flat spring with a screwdriver. I position the rifle on the workbench with the pistolgrip and triggerguard hanging over the edge, this keeps rifle from falling over. I hold the screwdriver in one hand and lean over the rifle and use my upper body weight to compress the spring. This makes it easy to remove the sight blade with my free hand. I have an old screwdriver with a nick in the blade that works great for this, as it won't slip around. There are other ways to do this, but this method works fine for me. |
