Where is it measured from? The rear of the chamber or the business end of the chamber(where the rifling begins)? I hope that description is understandable. Thanks. |

'Arkan', I have been perusing the original AR15 list since 1998, and been this board, ak, and falfiles for some time, and I have never done this, and I'm sure that the mods will zap this post for it... ...but your handle is incredibly offensive. Do you know who Arkan was, or what he did? I worked in Bosnia for several years, as well as Kosovo, Serbia, and Montenegro; I know the culture and people intimately; I've lived in the homes of, broke bread with, sometimes dated, and drank with virtually every ethnic group there (even the Roma) and I know who did what during the wars, indicted or not; I do not have an ethnic axe to grind or favor anyone in particular - (and I know that you can still buy 'Arkan -Heroije za Srbija' type books on the street in Budva, and I know I'm not conjugating that properly) and Arkan was the most base coward one could imagine, as well as being a papek in a track suit and white socks....whose 'combat' never occurred against armed combatants. I've observed the exhumation of mass graves with children's skulls with neat bullet holes in places like Sanski Most. You might well consider changing your handle to something less offensive like 'Mengele.' |

Thanks for the answers guy. I know who the man was, how he lived, and how he died. I'm too lazy to type out an explaination of why I use the name. My Bosnian Muslim friend who fought in the war doesn't mind it, so I've never really been concerned with it. I appreciate your views, sorry if you were offended. Thanks again guys. |
