Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bulgarian 74 barrel in SAR2 trunnion?

How can a Bulgarian 74 barrel be used on a SAR2 trunnion?  I believe the Bulgarian 74 barrel is 22mm at the trunnion and the SAR2 barrel is 23 mm.  The only way I can think of is to sleeve the Bulgarian barrel.  Is this safe?

never sleeved a barrel, but it sounds like a lot of work. Why don't you just install the bulgarian trunnion for your bulgy barrel? I believe they are the same width.

                                                                                        I have.Turn sleeve from 4130 steel tubing,cut to proper length.Freeze bbl,heat sleeve,press fit.Presto.
