i doubt you'll find a Czech Vz-58 receiver and if you do it'll probably be expensive. AMD-65 takes the same receiver as a stadard ak, same goes with the 74. the amd rear trunion holes are located differently though.

The beretta model 12 and Uzi receivers are available, look thru SGN. One place is Jeffs shooters supply, don't know the url. I have never heard of anyone offering a replacement receiver for the scorpion machine pistol though. OOW offers a fully machined receiver for the vz58; I believe the price is $800? or maybe it was $1200, either way, expensive.

Ohio Ordinance Works makes a receiver kit for the Vz58. Semi-auto only, it comes with all the parts to make a legal semi-auto.

the oow vz-58 receiver is top shelf...very nice quality.
i can't remember who is doing it (someone in mo.?), but the skorpion is now being made as as a semi-auto. i saw one priced at $350 a couple weeks back. the conversion was kinda crude...but at least you know that it's being done and receivers are available...somewhere. |

Leinad makes those Scorpion things and from what I here they are junk.I seen one at a gunshow and it was pretty crapy looking.
