So I installed a round bullet guide on my 223 Saiga (which has a round trunnion) and the bolt has been taking little divots out of the bullet guide. The bolt has also been hanging up on the bullet guide. Is this cause for concern? I was thinking of taking a file and opening that area up a little bit to stop it from happening further. It has seem to stop but I want to take preventative measures.

I would relieve a little material from it. Not good for the bolt to come in contact with it at all.

You only need the ramp at the front so the rest (top included) won't make a difference if you grind it down a bit.
