I picked up an M70B1 fixed stock Yugo kit.
1) What are my options for receivers? I believe the originals came with a 1.5mm thickness receiver vs. standard AK which would be 1mm. 2) I believe some came with milled receivers. That might be nice (and robust) but I understand can be a real hassle. Sources for these? 3) The kit is very "battle field" (maybe) worn and I would like to put it together with that "battlefield pick up" look to match the receiver. Is there a sloppy way to finish the new receiver and/or "wear out the finish " before final assembly? How is this done? |
