I'm curious if anyone has tried to pop rivet the bullet guide when doing Saiga converions.  It seems like a more secure solution than a machine screw and easier to perform than a standard ak rivet.

A pop-rivet most likely won't last as long as a screw or standard rivet.

a stainless steel one would work better than a screw. It won't work loose like a screw.

That's what I was thinking but haven't seen anyone else post threads about it.

I can think of several reasons why not.  I cannot think of any reasons why.

Just read one of the rivet vs screw threads and substitute "pop rivet" for "screw".
