I'm looking at a us made FCG for one of my mak90's and really don't know much about aftermarket triggers. The 3 I see are the Arsenal, Tapco G2 and the Red Star Arms. Does anyone have some insight on any of these and is the Red Star really worth the extra? I'm a fan of two stage triggers and I'm not sure if any of these are.

Arsenal makes the only 2-stage trigger but also sells the "normal" single stage type.
Tapcos are my go-to choice... cheap and reliable. Red Star are adjustable, but expensive. A final choice would be Texas AK FCG; I quite like these, especially the front of the trigger which is ribbed. FYI the original Chinese FCG is actually quite good, so if you have a choice of replacing the gas piston, furniture, mag parts, etc to meet 922(r) I would recommend keeping it original. |
