I bought mine used. I'm having trouble with the head forming punches. Anyone know who made this?

Nope, I already called Curtis and sent him a pic. He says it isn't his.

AKMACHINIST on the AK Files. Copy of Curtis' jig but without the final polishing and finishing resulting is lower cost. I like mine a lot, and from what I remember some others also had a problem with his earlier forming heads being too soft. I remember he made those members new ones for free.

ETA: Gah, I've been getting beaten to the punch a lot lately.

Well ain't that something, I was just over there at theakforum and saw your post responding to someone looking for a starting list of tools, your link, and new mustangduck was looking for whom ever made that rivet jig. I guess we're all in this together and thank God for computers and the internet. Crash

Thanks guys!  I sent him a PM. Hopefully he gets back to me soon. I finally got my  Form 1 approved for my Tula Krink build (6 month wait), and then I mess my tools up!!!    Just my luck!

You can get the forming tools on Gunbroker and also Guns and Things if you want to just get the punches.... You will have to purchase them though.... Actually their easy to make with some Grade 8 Hex bolts just get the longer ones and cut it at the threads and drill out the bottoms... to what ever your trying to make... A end mill works great for the forming punches and a drill for the final dome punch.....
