All I know about it is that the screw into the stock didn't move a millimeter when trying to build mine. We just left the trunnion in the stock and pried off the old receiver from around it and put the new one on it. The rear screw/bolt is threaded into a nut that gets 'dimpled' to help ensure it doesn't become loose or unthread on its own so in order to remove it you may need a little anti-seize or break oil along with a good screwdriver. That nut was missing from some of our kits and we had to request new ones from Centerfiresystems back when they first got these kits but most kits I have seen since then have them. |

dremel(only where it is staked),30 seconds. unsrcews with ease then. 2 screws I think.1 under the recoil spring (inside receiver)and the forementioned, never saw one for the p.grip before. You're talking about a PSL? All the PSLs I have seen have one in the tang and one in the pistol grip. |

Yes the Romy PSL has two stock screws, one through the tang & one through the grip.(under the bakelite cover) Here are a few pictures that will help explain how it works. http://i39.tinypic.com/35bf483.jpg Here is a better picture of the tang screw nut. http://i42.tinypic.com/fyz828.jpg And this one is hard to see but the grip screw T-nut sets in the hole in the stock under the rear stock tang. You may need to drill a hole through the bottom of the receiver to get the screw through to the T-nut.(I did) http://i42.tinypic.com/amzbwn.jpg I hope this helps, Good Luck with your build! Finally some pictures to clarify things. Looks just like mine, only not as sexy! |
