Just install the tapco handguard on my romanian wasr10 but when Im finish, somehow I cant push my cleaning rod all the way through. Anyone experiencing this issue?

The Crapco hand guards do not let you install the cleaning rod.

On some after market lower hand guards I have had to cut out a slot or hole for the cleaning rod to pass through.

Yep. I had one that used molded-in "ribs" to strengthen it. I had to cut a notch in something like 5 or 6 ribs.
