I made it out of a plastic soap dish and some strips of aluminium.  Seems pretty sturdy so far.
Anyone else have pics of their own cheek rest?  I was going to buy one but they're like $75!

Very neat idea and it looks good too..And I don't blame you, I would not give 75 dollars for one either. Why don't you market yours for 35 dollars and name it: "THE CHEEK BONE SAVER".
