Guys, I need some help.

I have built about 8 ak rifles, but all were numbers matching kits. I have go and no go gauges to set headspace.

Can anyone point me to a tutorial or site to give me some explicit instructions on building a non numbers matching kit? In particular, I need to know what size to drill out the trunnion hole, where to get reamers of that size (if even needed) and what specific size barrel pins to use once I have the trunnion drilled. I know there has to be a certain tightness(?) there. Also any tips on setting the headspace.

I will be building about 5 non matching Romanian kits.

Hi,

www.ak-builder.com has over size barrel pins (0.302)

I see they also have a 0.300 reamer, but I don't know if that would be too snug or not...

when you press in the barrel line up the pre exsisting holes.check headspace.you say you have 5 non matching kits.keep trying different bolts.you may get some to work.if you do get correct headspace,just ream the hole with 7mm reamer and use original pin.
