| Can you convert a standard stamped receiver to take a folding stock? I toyed around with the drop in folder from kvar but would have to pin it to stay in tune with California law so if I'm going to pin it I might as well get a better look without the gross extension piece. Thanks. -Ben |

The "drop-in" really bolts on...to the tangs on the receiver...no conversion necessary.
The only bad thing is depending on your rifle you may get interference with the scope mount (if installed) and it won't have the catch to hold the stock in the closed position should you ever move to a free state (J/K...had to get a dig in). An alternative would be the Romanian "wire" side folder which also bolts to the tangs. |
