... always remember your first.

*ahem*

Anyway, this is my first flat and first time bending a receiver.  Hopefully this isn't a totally noob question, but I'm hoping you experienced folks can lend a hand.  To me it looks like the bend is a little off center, and if it is, will it still be usable?

Take a look:

Thanks for reading.  Any help is appreciated.

Put in front and rear trunions and see how they fit. Mostly front, check if the little rails fit into the grooves and 4 holes align well.

Check if you have 90 deg angles between wall and bottom maybe they are bent more toward one side giving effect of being different height. Install temporarily with rivets the lower rails and see how the bolt glides on them and aligns with front trunion.

It will work fine, I have seen worse work without a problem.

Thanks for the replies.  I haven't ordered a parts kit yet so I didn't have anything to fit it with.  Figured if I couldn't master bending that the rest of the machine work was probably out of my league.  But I'm excited, this all seems doable!!

Jaja, he said machine work.  Trust me, get a kit and if you have to you can get a Nodak Spud to complete it and still come out ahead.  There really isn't any "machining" involved, just some fancy Dremel work (or any grinder) and a press or BFH helps.
