Hi all
I have a MAK 90 I love, shoots straight, etc. Couple of years ago I got an ACE kit and got rid of the "butthole" stock I want to thread the barrel, and mount a new front sight block with the retainer pin for the muzzle brake (mak-90 fsb doesn't have the hole for the pin) I've seen the threading kits with the alignment tool - I think I can handle this ok. Not worried about driving out the FSB pins either, but I am a bit concerned about getting the FSB off the barrel - MAK-90's have noticeable machine marks (look like mini threads) on the barrel (I think they turn the barrels at a fast speed). Anybody have any experience removing a FSB from a mak-90? Comments? Is it a waste of time? Thanks in advance for all posts..... |
