Ok, i know this might have been answered, but. Since NODak is out of the recvrs for the AMD65, which recvr would work for a standard wood stock? I assume a SA-85 recvr would work, with a new rear trunion. If so, are there any problems with doing this. I think i would prefer the wood furniture anyway.

NoDak doesn't make an "SA-85" receiver per se - but the standard NDS-1 platform (in all its various forms) was based on the Hungarian SA-85 receiver.
The previous poster is correct, in that any standard AKM receiver (NDS-1, NDS-3) would be appropriate for an SA-85 build. SA-85 is just a typical fixed-stock model. Of course, if you can get your hands on an NDS-1, you can also just set it up for the AMD-65 parts (rear stock). It's really not that difficult at all, just take your time making the notch.. and once it's good, clamp the trunnion in place to drill the holes for the pin & folder latch. -L |
