I dont know if there are threads on the barrel, although I would like to know as well. As far as 922 goes, if you leave the thumbhole stock on it 922 does not apply.div class='quoteStyle']Quoted:

Well I guess I'll answer my own question. I've checked the web, and apparently since mine has a pin, that means the muzzle brake was pressed on, so no threads. What a bummer. I wonder if there's enough OD on the barrel to thread it? Any thoughts? The Romanians can have some interesting variations in detail. If SAR and WASRs are any indication, theres no telling until you get the old device off and mic the barrel. They could have never threaded the barrel, turned off the threads, or just turned down the barrel to prevent threading. I've seen all 3. |
