I want to get a couple of flats to have for future builds. I do not know what variation I will build. I am needing to sell my bending jig, so I will not have access to one after I sell it. Any recomendations to the type of flat?

I think a lot of folks swear by AK-builder, although I have only used Tapco and had good luck.

Bend up a few of each, even tantals and polish underfolders are only about 40 bucks.  most others are even less.  But i guess if you are needing to sell the jig its cuz you need the cash. better bend up some standard akms.  You might think about the boat load of kits that Copes and a few others have been promising for the last 6 months.  If these ever come in it might be nice to have a flat or two.  This is the list they originally posted.

But I am still confused as to why a man would sell his tools.

I like "improved" flats, but that is because I don't like to bend upper rails since I don't have one of the more expensive bending jigs that makes it easy.
