Hey guys I just bought a muzzle break to install on my ak. The ak had a muzzle nut on it that was tack welded. I was able to cut through the weld and remove the muzzle nut. The muzzle break screws on fine but there is no hole in the front sight base to put a spring and retaining pin on. Can I get a crush washer somewhere and use that or do I have to drill the front sight base and install a spring and pin? The muzzlebreak is made in the USA. Thanks for any help. |
| you can opt for a couple directions.first what type rifle do you have.sounds like a mak.but anyway you can remove the old FSB and put a new one on,or drill a indent pin hole in the FSB,or tack the new piece on.not sure if the crush washer will work out for ya.A colbalt drill bit will work the best for ya.1st option to drill it,it would be,to me easiest, second would be to replace the FSB..just a thought.. |
