I just got a romy kit with all numbers matching. The front half is still complete. If i leave the barrel/trinnon assembly intact, should the headspace be ok? i plan on installing the barrel and trinnon as one piece.

It should be, but the only way to know for sure is to use headspace gauges. If you don't, you're relying on the skill and dedication of a work force that was effectively slave labor and which was making the chains that bound them. You're also relying on the fact that, if a problem occured after manufacture, the person responsible for repairing it did his job, and did it properly.
I check the headspace before I pull the barrel, verify it after the barrel is reinstalled and fire ten shots from a safe distance with the rifle on a test stand. But then, I want to keep a good relationship with all my body parts.

Thanks for the info.I plan on getting the gauges and using them.My concern was,is it manditory to remove the barrel to build the rifle.

If you're building with rivets, yes.
If you're doing a screw build, no ... BUT read the threads by people who've drilled into the barrel while drilling out the rivets with the barrel installed. It's apparently very easy to do!

I am going to use a drill press with a limiter. Why is a screw build differ from a rivet build? the barrel is set in the trunnion and doesn't move unless the pin and the barrel are pressed out?? I am a poor person who will treat this rifle with great care (like if i was doing surgery on myself) no room for error.

I am not trying to be a butt head,i ask alot of questions. I am a firm believer in the saying "Measure Twice,Cut Once"

only if you plan on using a rivet press that requires barrel removal. If you are bucking the rivets against the barrel there is no need to remove it.

it is "best" to remove the barrel for any build besides a weld build. In a screw build it makes threading a lot easier.

That may be one of the reasons why I pretty much only weld mine together unless someone wants something different

LOL Doc ! I just spent alot of time readng (starting from page 40 and working back this way) to actually figure out what i am gonna do.I found my answers and then come back here to post and you partially answered it. I see that 4 rivets have to be crimped with the barrel out (that's not gonna happen). So in my case,i will U drive the front trunnion then weld it to make sure it wont move. Then rivet the rest of the rifle (maybe do the same to the rear trunnion, but i haven't really looked at that yet). The main thing is,,,,This rifle worked the way it is set up and i don't want to futz around with R&R the barrel.

Again thanks for all the info guys
