How do youremove the mag release lever from the trigger guard on an assembled rifle? Looks like a PITA I want to grind some off the contact area to allow more mags to fit in the weapon. TIA |

If I'm understanding you right the mag isn't going far enough into the receiver. You don't need to remove the mag release from the trigger gaurd to fix this, look at the back of the mag well just above the mag release. With a mag in the well you can see were the mag is hitting/binding, dremel or file this area of the mag well until the mag sits up in the well as far as it can go, then if that doesn't let the mag latch lock in right take a little off the top of the mag catch itself. |
