is the trigger guard already on the weapon?..I have a way to put it on with the trigger guard riveted on.you could do this both ways if so inclined.. first loosen up some vise grips so you can compress the spring in them like this..  second wrap some wire around the spring while it is compressed..  take the wrapped spring out of vise grips and insert it into the mag catch and slip it into the trigger housing.once you have it set in place,put the pin in,you can use the old pin.if it is too short after pounding out,just put the pin ends on a piece of metal and roll the pin while pounding the end.this will lengthen it so it will fit back in the holes.no need for a slave pin,and then reach in behind the wire and cut it and pull it out and you are done.  |
