I'm kinda new to the dark side, I am in the process of trying to get my Romy build going but I'm not sure which fire control set to use. (double or single hook) Does it really matter which one you use?

on most guns no but some rec's will only take a single hook
and some of the us made recs have issues with some of the us made triggers
so i guess what im saying is it would help alot to know alot more about the rifle

I use a double hook on my Romy G with tapco flat. Got about 300 rounds through it.
