[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Parts Kit build question

Ok, built many an AR from the ground up but new to the AK side of things, while this is not exactly an exact AK build I figure someone here could tell me if THIS was possible and still remain legal.

Other then the kit linked to for the Scoripon, where would one get a barrel which is of legal length (or would it have to be custom made?) and what other parts would I need to be US complaint?

Thanks for any insight as to if this is even possible and if so, would I want to even attempt it.

I don't think anybody makes 16" barrels for that pistol. Have you seen one in person? They're pretty small.

Forget the stock, go with the pistol build.

922 doesn't apply to pistols.....

What he said.....even if you can find a 16' bbl it would be very dumb looking and front heavy. Make a cool little "assault" pistol and you dont have to fall under 922(r). Or shell out $200 and sbr it as a "rifle".

Can either of you suggest a place where I could but a barrel for it should I go the pistol route?
