went to install ext mag release having trouble punching the holes thru ak mag release tried new bits any suggestions?

Couldn't you have saved yourself some trouble and just ghetto welded an extra piece of metal onto the mag release?

It might look ugly, but it sure would work.

Thanks Zeke13 if cobalt drill bits don't do the job that may be the next course of action.
