| With my new upper on the way, I did not get a chrome lined barrel. I know if I am storing it, I need to protect the inside of the barrel, right? it is 4140 chrome moly steel. Should I put a light coat of oil inside when storing it, and would I need to run a bore snake or patch through it before shooting? I know its is a fairly stupid question and may have been asked before..thanks |

When your ready for shooting run a solvent patch down the bore followed by a dry patch and your ready to go! In the future always remember your question is not "fairly stupid". Better to ask then to wind up with a spoiled bore. Impala
