So I recently replaced the ejector and spring but used the same roll pin. Is this ok to use or will it be too loose? It seems fine to me. I ordered the colt ejector roll pin from brownells a while back but it was way too long and was too large in diameter. Any body know if a DPMS ejector roll pin would be ok? I try to avoid DPMS if I can except for their lower parts kits, they seem to work ok.

You should have no problems re-using the original roll pin. The larger roll pin you order might have mistakenly been one meant for an AR10 bolt.

If you PM me your address, I'll send you a new, properly sized roll pin as I have a few thousand

The OP asked about the EJECTOR not the EXTRACTOR.... Clearly the extractor uses a solid pin.

Yes EJECTOR not extractor. I have ordered the colt one from brownells but it is clearly the wrong part; too long, too wide. DPMS makes one but I want to make sure it will hold up when I am runnin' and gunnin'.

Ok, I'm dumb,  what is an ejector on an ar15?

That little rod that sticks up in the bolt face. It's on the inside of the bolt face but on the edges where the bolt lugs begin.
It "pushes" the case out of the bolt and the extractor "pulls" it to the side. Which ejects the casing.
