I think that is the name.
Anyone have much experience with this stuff? I bought a gallon of it (I like to jump in with both feet HA) So, I am pretty happy with CLP to be honest for my GUNS. I have used it on shop equipemnt and it seems to lack a little in rust prevention. My shop is hot, cold, humid, etc. So, during the spring I keep the heat on all the time so when the first warm humid day pops up I don't get condensation. It is heartbreaking to walk in the door and see water sitting on big $$ equipment. So, then the heating bill is $$$$. Hence the gallon of eezox. I am spending the day cleaning up one of the tougher pieces. All light surface rust cleaned, etc. SO, the question is... anyone else use this on equipment? Thanks Wags |

Personally I haven't used it, I hear mostly good reviews on it.
This old thread on another site may interest you, just for information. HTH Eezox vs weapons shield |

Eezox, is super stuff to use on steel. Use it on my AK's, AR steel parts ( outside ) handguns. Just about any surface that is Blued, or steel. You don't slap it on thick. Just use it like you'd use regular oil on a weapon. It leaves a nice shine. Once it dries, you can handle the gun, and not have to worry about finger prints.
I don't think it's made for lubrication purposes. I never use it for that. That's what CLP or SL2000 is for!

Sweet! I hope it does. It does have a stank to it. HA I mean... a STANK!
But, anyway, I got the one machine all cleaned up, protected, we will see. I see the value behind a shure shot sprayer or something along those lines. I will order one. It is hard to spray a light mist out of a regular pump type sprayer. I really don't need it for any "lube" purposes on the equipment. I just need the protection. IF it works half as well as I hope it does... it will be worth its weight in gold. Wags |

I use it on all of my guns, no problems with it. It's reported to have outstanding rust prevetion properties. When I shoot my AR I put a couple of drops in the vent holes in the BCG, works for me. What I meant to say, but didn't because I had a brain fart, was that when I shoot my AR I put a couple of drops of Slip 2000 EWL in the BCG vent holes. I'm done buying super expensive gun oils, when the slip 2000 runs out it I will put a few drops of Mobil1 on the BCG, but will stick with the eezox. |
