[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Upper reciever block question

I have a RRA Elite Operator Lef-t and am trying to change the handguard out on it but need a upper reciever block to do it and the standard clamp ones don't fit, anyone have any good recommendations for a block that will fit the reciever? I'm not looking at taking the barrel off just remove the half-quad rail and put a new barrel nut on it.

Flat top, you could try mounting the flats in a padded vice.

Here's a pic of how they work...doesn't matter if its a lefty, billet, vltor, or whatever as long as its a flat-top upper

I use the blocks from Squirrel Daddy and they work very well. Where in NC are you? If you are close to Mayberry RFD you are welcome to use them.
