I'm sure this question has been asked and answered but I have not had any luck with the search option. Do you have to have a left upper vise block or are they universal and where can I buy one if you have to have a lefty. Thanks

Flattop left hand upper, just rotate the upper 90 deg so that you can clamp both flats in a vise. Use some hard maple or equiv on the jaws first.

Correct. Flats only. and it does not need to be cranked down. Make sure to use some hard padding.
