I've been thinking about redesigning/ building a new cleaning kit. This would be where I store everything needed to clean my ARs, pistols, and shotguns. My GO-TO box when it comes to cleaning time.

Right now I have a big plastic bag full of an assortment of smaller plastic bags, ziplocs of all sizes containint mops, brushes, picks, etc. You get the idea.

I want to become more organized and have been considering purchasing a fishing tacklebox or something of the sort to hold all my brushes, patches, jags, lubes & solvents, etc. But I'm not sure if the tacklebox is the way to go or not.

I know there are several of you out that really have your stuff together and probably have some very organized yet functional kits put together. Whether they've been passed down for generations or if you just built it yesterday... I just wanted to get an idea of what kind of set-up you guys have... So post em up. Let's see those pics!

I bought a tool carrier at Sears a few years ago and keep everything in it.  The lower part holds all of the chemicals and everything else has a home in the organizers.  IIRC I paid $35.

This is my kit in a Plano tackle box, the best box I have used so far.   I have parts and stuff in this box that go back to 1973, when I purchased my first gun, Ruger Super Single Six, brand new for $47.
