| Somehow I scratched my new AR which thankfully was a small place. I picked up some touch up paint that is made for AR but it isn't close in color( Black ) Any body know of a product that would match a lot better? |

Testors Enamel flat black. It matched my Colt 6920 lower perfectly.

You will need to remove the barrel from the upper, degrease it really well, and apply gun-kote right on top of the park. Then you need to thermally cure it in an oven. | I am in the construction business and can not believe how easy the parkerizing comes off the lowers. You would think it would be baked on or something. I read an article somewhere and it suggested heating it then paint it. And guess what the $ 200 dollar scratches just as easy as a $ 99 dollar lower. |
