This is from the retaining spring-clip on the charging handle. I'm thinking it should be normal, but I want to make sure.

are you a lefty by any chance?
I'm a southpaw and I notice that, that spot in particular often suffers slightly more wear than other people due to the nature of the charging handle design. I have an ambi setup on some of my rigs and not on others. either way no biggie at all. |
