I am. Does not burn away. So far so good for me. I use it liberally with good results on ar's.

Google "Filthy #14" or DL the .pdf from BCM's website and you'll probably use it, too.

It's all I use for all my firearm lubrication needs, it stays put and doesn't dry up like other products I've tried.

I use the regular Slip 2000 weapons oil, not the extreme version (EWL), which I understand has a thicker consistency needed for ultra hot machine guns. - CW

The company gave me a 1-ounce bottle at SHOT show and later mailed me some more of it. I used it exclusively until the 1-ounce bottle was empty.  I thought it was a pretty good lubricant but it sucked as a cleaner. Didnt even clean as well as the original orange colored Slip2000, which is also a poor cleaner.  I ended up giving away the additional EWL product they gave me.

1-ounce of SlipEWL cost more than 4-ounces of breakfree. I wouldnt buy it.

It works great for a cleaner if you have it on there before you go shooting.  You really notice on the second cleaning.  I clean with it, then lube it up.  Before my next outing I wipe it down and dry the barrel with a  patch.  It works wonders for me.  After you let it soak for 20 mins or so, you can wipe it dry and  it will still lube your weapon.  this is a great benefit because no dirt will stick to it.  the guys in the sandbox LOVE the stuff for this reason.

I use it, and love it. Good stuff!

ETA-  I only use it for lubrication.  I clean with Carbon Killer, Breakfree, & Powder Blaster if needed, then lube wth EWL.

Me too.  I scrape and clean the BCG with Kroil and Ezzox, then lube the bolt (except for the face) and forward section of the carrier with Slip 2000 gun lube (not EWL).  Apparently, Slip 2000 keeps the DI carbon from sticking as much as would be the case with lesser products such as Breakfree. - CW

There really is no better product on the market then Slip 2000.

Use in on AR bolt and charging handle. Also use it on auto pistol rails. I was using Wilson Combat Ultra Lube white grease but like EWL better. Does not dry out.

Only gun lube I've used since I started using it. Good stuff. Ran a gun all season last year with just wipe downs and ewl not a hiccup.  Not a huge round count but still a few k. I like it.

It is cheap too.

I like it.

Its too runny for my liking

They make a 30 and 50 weight, but its only availabe at DSArms.
I have alot of lube, but when I need some more im gonna try the 30 weight because I think its properties are great, but its like water

Water that has had a ton of thickner added to it. EWL 30 and 50 are far from "like water" Stuff is like a grease. Even the plain EWL stays put.

sorry that was worded wrong,

I meant to say the normal EWL is like water, its very runny, and im going to try the thicker 30 weight when I need some more lube.

Just bought two 4 oz bottles. Use it on BCG contact areas and pistol rails.  Good stuff.

I have been mixing the 50 weight with SLP2000 EWL, and have had great results. I do half and half. It stays put better than anything else I tried, and after a 100-200 rd session the bcg wipes right off. I should also mention I use gunzilla to clean with, and I think the zilla absorbs into the bolt after a few cleanings, and makes it easier to clean after each use. My bolts run like they are on rails with this mix.

After I run out of this batch I might try just using the 30 weight by itself, and see if it's equal t the slp 2000+50 weight mix.

I don't know how this mix would do in the cold weather yet.

I used to use CLP, being left handed the bolt would sling hot CLP on my shooting glasses and all over the place. Slip EWL stays put and doesnt sling crap all over the place.
So here is my official south paw endorsment.

I clean with CLP. BCG gets lube from Slip 2000 EWL. Everything else is lubed with CLP. When at a carbine coarse or a long range day, the bolt will stay wet for over 500 rounds. Around 1k I'll relube with Slip 2000 EWL.

I use the standard Slip 2k. I really like it, mostly because it is non-toxic. The carbon killer is great stuff too, that is what I use to clean mostly. After a few range trips with the Slip cleaning up is a lot easier, mostly just wipe off and reapply lube. Just use the Carbon Killer on the tough spots. Relube and reassemble.

I cleaned my rifle today ( I haven't shot in a while, just felt like cleaning it while watching tv) and I have noticed that there was some carbon "bleeding". I guess this stuff just gets into the pores of the metal and pushes out the carbon, which is why it is so much easier to clean.

I was using hoppes 9 gun oil and my ar15 would get dry after a few mags the slip2000 EWL keeps it wet.

I really like the stuff. I also use slip 2000 725 cleaner/degreaser on my bcg, then once thats clean I'll finish it off by liberally applying the EWL. I also apply EWL to my charging handle and a light coat to my bore once I've already cleaned it with Hoppe's No.9.
